Had a lovely time with Karen today at Proposals. She opened the shop especially for me as I wanted my daughter to come with me and she only really has Mondays off work. Lovely shop. Tried on several dresses but actually bought the first one I tried. Beautiful. Karen so helpful. Highly recommend

Lots of amazing dresses and accessories to choose from at a range of prices to suit all budgets. Staff were really friendly and helpful, giving advice, helping to choose other dress styles that I hadn't considered and being patient! Well worth a visit.

Horrible experience at the shop. I booked my appointment and when I arrived at a designated time there was another bride there with an entourage of about 8 people. Nobody from the staff greeted me and I was just ignored. People were staring at me and I felt really awkward and did not want to intrude. I had to find an assistant and tell her I had an appointment with them and that I will come back later. I had nobody with me at the time and it was supposed to be a special moment for me but the shop made me feel worthless. I was waiting outside and I pretty much started to cry when it started to rain. About 20 minutes into my appointment I was invited in but at that time I could not focus on dress shopping.

This is rather a late review as I got married in May! Throughout the procees of choosing my wedding dress to getting it cleaned afterwards, the ladies at Proposals have been so friendly and helpful and it was easy to find the dress for me! I can highly recommend Proposals.
