Excellent staff and service. Ilkeston is not my local vets by any means but I went there due to the fact I used to work locally. I could of easily moved vets years ago when this was no longer the case but why would I when I know they have a team of vets and nurses who have always been kind, caring and given excellent advice on all my pets.

Both receptionist staff and vets were so lovely, even despite the fact that it was busy and everyone trying understand each other with masks! As a first time pet owner I’ve found the whole experience here so reassuring and helpful!

Our vet, Tim, was very kind and interested with Poppy. He sat with us for a very in depth conversation before taking Poppy into the consultation room. I felt very comfortable leaving Poppy with him. Once he had examined her he explained her problem really clearly, even bringing out books to show me what he was explaining. He really put my mind at ease. Tim suggested that Poppy sees him for her next check up as 'it's best to see the same vet if you can', which I'm really happy with. Tim is a credit to Vets 4 Pets, thank you.

The vet was amazing. So caring towards Seamus, confident and showed me how to put the drops in his eyes. I have now been able to do this without causing any stress to him. I can honestly say that he’s the best vet I have ever encountered and I have been visiting vets with different pets for the last 20 years

Great reception staff and brilliant practice manager, very knowledgeable, great with animals. One vet is incredibly book smart, but I didn't think great at handling animals. Floor is slippy, not great for scared animals that try to run. I do rate the setup, adequate parking outside. I dont rate the covid setup, taking animals from their owners. Its a cold. Allow us into the rooms with them.
