I have never ever had nicer haircut than the one from Mahogany Hairdressing. If I could, I would fly there again from CZ. Many thanks to Liam and the other guy. Sorry, I forgot his name. It's been years I have not been to Oxford. Also cheaper than in Prague!

DO NOT GO HERE. My housemate and I went to Mahogany for root bleach and a toner. Firstly it is extreamly overpriced for the shambles of a service which they provide. Secondly, they have absolutely fried and destroyed both of our hair. They used a high percentage bleach on my hair which (being slightly fair haired naturally) only requires 1-2% bleach. I was not given a choice of toner colour and left the salon having had a silver high peroxide toner placed onto my hair which damaged it severely. Another stylist brushed through my hair after I had the bleach on it (it is common sense that hair which has just been bleached is delicate and does not need to be yanked). I was disgusted to see clumps of my hair in the comb which she yanked through my hair! I have since been to a different hairdressers several times to try to correct the damage which they have done. I have now been left with short broken sections of hair all over the top and front of my head which will take years to grow back to how it formall was. Please avoid this hairdressers and the others in the Mahogony chain if you want to keep your hair in good condition. My friend had the same experience. She has naturally dark hair (and does not use heat on her hair) and the hairdresser fried her hair and yanked sections out after bleaching so she is also now left with broken off sections of hair.

I love this salon. I've been going since 1999. They are just amazing. Expensive? Yes. But worth it? God yes. Can't recommend them enough. For cuts and colouring they are outstanding.
