I support Millwood Cat Rescue. They do amazing work rescuing cats who need new homes. Ferals are also cared for and orphaned kittens are hand reared. There is also a boarding cattery, where pets are very well cared for. They need all the help offered as they have been unable to hold any fund raising events this year. If you can help this worthy cause, please contact Millwood.

Saddened today to of spoke to the lady who runs this rescue who I was hoping could help me with a male stray cat who could potentially have fiv, like many strays have a high possibility of having fiv.. To be told that if the cat has fiv there's no point and should just be put to sleep as there's nothing that can be done for them and it's too much hassle to find them a suitable home! As a rescue this is such a narrow minded thing to say and cats with fiv deserve just as much chance as any other cat and can lead a happy and healthy life, as I have rehomed cats with fiv in the past! Very disappointed and would not want to bring a cat to this rescue who have a view on putting healthy cats to sleep!

This cat rescue centre is well known in the local community, the owners must have lost count of the amount of cats they've rescued and rehomed. In the past Millwood have looked after my cat for me when I'm away on holiday, my cat loved staying there. They are lovely people and really do deserve a medal for helping lost and frightened cats. 🏅🏅

.Millwood is run by an amazing woman who has dedicated her life to rescuing and rehoming cats.We got our last two cats as kittens from Millwood and they both lived to a very good age and made our lives very,very happy.The lady is helped by a volunteer but most of the hard work is done by her.I can recommend anyone wanting a cat or a kitten to go to Millwood and Ronnie McMillen RSPCA and Cats Protection r good but Ronnie is brilliant.
