I work for thrifty car and van rental this is one of our branches
Yeovil branch: The attitude was incredible. Went in not fussy and flexible for any car over Christmas. The gentleman could not have been more dismissive. I asked if the manager could speak to me and heard her start her rant from the back office. Marched to the from to berate me for daring to consider complaining.
Came to Thrifty after a dreadful experience with Enterprise. I can't speak highly enough of the excellent service we received and car we hired. Nothing was too much trouble and we were met with kind, helpful and experienced staff. I and all my customers will be back next time and every time.
Take a magnify glass around the vehicle before signing for it at Yeovil. I didn't and got told there was no damage so signed as taking vehicle. On returning vehicle in London they noticed a tiny dent in the top of the door and have subsequently I have lost deposit money.
Thrifty are cheaper than other companies but will make up for it with poor pre checks and sting you later.
My advice pay more for a better company and have a better peace of mind. If you use thrifty check check and check again before signing anything.

Very very poor service staff in reception is rude and not helpful at all. I reserved car and I paid all ready too but staff on reception is make me feel like buying property asking lots of bills. And up they didn’t give me car and not paying me back too. Rubbish company👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Udrive lot better. just take your driving licence with u they will sorted
