Lovely Spanish food!
Very good lunch and coffee. Hand sanitizer at each table and tables well spaced. Delicious hot food as usual so why not 5 stars!
Very pleasant courtyard setting on a lovely sunny-ish day, fast service and a very varied lunch menu....except for vegans. I had telephoned in advance and been assured there were "plenty of options" , but in the event there appeared to be only one. I did ask about vegan, but nothing else was offered or suggested, so presumably not available. *That's OK in itself*, no obligation to cater widely for vegans, but a disappointment to have been told one thing then finding another. And clear accurate labelling on the menu itself would be more than helpful. So - a disappointment.
Fabulous gardens and woodland walks and a great courtyard suntrap with fantastic snacks and drinks served up by Maria and her staff.
If you haven't been to Maria's GO! It's NOT the usual Tourist destination Cafe!...This is a destination in itself. Sensational Home cooked food (Obviously with a delightful Spanish twist) and utterly lovely service. Sit inside and hide out of the rain as we did the other day or bask in the sunshine in the Courtyard.....Give 'em my very best wishes when you see them.
