Searching in great difficulty for an apartment for my family in Central Oxford, lucky to meet Mr Conor of Martin & Co. Woodins Way. Quick and professional in response to my requests. Showed us some apartments to choose from and based on our needs he recommended us an apartment still not on the market. Arranged with the tenant immediately and we were satisfied with the property after viewing. Fixed everything for us in around 7 days because of our urgency, including all the negotiations, cleaning of the property, etc. After moving in, we reported some problems and they sent very good builder to help fix all of the problems. We are very grateful to Mr Conor and all his so helpful colleagues. Thank you all so much for the help to a family just relocated to the UK!
I am rating the referencing side of letting a one star, as when passed onto the ladies on that end, I felt like they did not care at all about me or my queries, let alone actually getting my reference done. As I have worked in referencing for over a year, I know how quick and easy referencing can be and the excuses and time it took them to complete my reference were astounding and fabricated, from what I know from prior experience. Countless calls that were left asking why the reference was taking so long, were only ever responded with “I’ll pass that on” to hear no response back. However I would rate the initial estate/letting advisor a 5 star as Jordan was extremely personable and caring, as far enough to actually help me with things such as finding how to get a parking permit for when I was to move, as well as just generally being a very nice guy, could not recommend him anymore, I also believe he was the reason my reference was not held up any longer as he also pushed them to finish it.
It was my pleasure dealing with Martin & Co. They are very professional and is always on top of things. A special mention must be given to Jordan and Zoe, both of them have been the most helpful throughout my search for a "home" in Oxford. While the pandemic has brought about a great deal of uncertainties, the staff at Martin & Co did everything they could to ease my concerns.

This is a great agency with affordable good quality properties for rent. However, they could be more on top of their game by communicating better with each other as tenancy stages progress. From one visit in person my impression is that they have a siloed task-driven organisation style. Which is fine, until the point where they all give conflicting pieces of information to a tenant. The transition process from booking through to routine property management runs like a fairly smooth well-oiled machine. And the whole process (apart from handing over the keys) can be done remotely on a mobile phone. The people who work there are polite, professional and well grounded and that is surely the key ingredient to the success of the agency.
