My little boy has been attending this nursery since he was 10 months old,he’s now turning 4 and will be leaving in a couple months to start school in sept.😢 Can’t thank them enough for looking after him & allowing him to become the most polite, intelligent, funny & sociable boy! He’s made so many friends & loves the adults dearly. Hes had it tough over the years struggling with his asthma but Northover have made it so easy & comforting for us as parents each time he’s had to settle back into nursery. The owners are so caring & friendly so any reason I’ve had to speak to them they’ve been lovely & helped in every way they can. The food is fantastic too cooked fresh on site every day. My little boy loves it. 😊 And to add a Bonus the garden is having a revamp so that will be amazing for all the children. Can’t wait to see it when completed. Thank you for everything the last few years. Abbie & Lee Davey x

Son has a serious medical condition - very important information is shared. On one occassion he was taken to hospital from there. They failed to tell myself and his mother he had been sick. Very important information for drs to know. Their written statement of events completley contradicts what his mother witnessed. They have also stated their opinion as fact in a written statement as to what was said on a phone call between myself and his mother. The two people actually on the call know this is not what was said. When qiestioned was told i wad a liar. Another incident. My sons medication had changed doses to that stated on bottle. This was accepted the first week and medication given this was accepted on the second week medication given once. 15 minutes before his vital meds were due they decided they would not administer it. (7 hours after he arrived and after his first dose had already been given) When went to collect him the managers husband (the cook) got aggressive. Accused me of overmedicating my son (he is a cook, the person advising the medication is an endocrine consultant), after him raising his voice i decided enough was enough and tried walking away. While putting my sons boots on he stood above me and proceedes to shout at me. I asked him to please leave me alone and stop following us. He then carried on shouting. I refused to carry on with this conversation. He repeatedly shouted "you will acknowledge me!" - all of this infront of my 3 year old son. His wife the manager eventually persuaded him to go back with her. Myself and my sons mother decided that we could no longer send our son their. I emailed them and asked for a time to collect my sons belongings. They did not reply. My sons mother emailed them requesting they arranged a time with me as she did not want to go in there. The manager and her husband turned up unannounced at her home address which she felt very uncomftorble and awkward with. The snacks and deinks they gave her were months out of date. I had given a brand new pack of pullups that last day she got 6 back. I would advise anyone to avoid like the plague! It is a shame as one or two of the staff are really good. But management lets the place down. Also the garden is filthy overgrown and equipment is broken.
