I’m exempt from wearing a mask, because of my awful asthma and I was out of breath when I got there as I walked it around the corner for exercise. I didn’t bring a mask due to my asthma, as I tried one on before and nearly suffocated & had a panic attack. I explained to them about my exemption and my condition. They were very rude and told me I can’t come in without a mask! I was there 10 minutes still explaining my exemption. I spoke to the manager, gosh, oh gosh! He was very rude and said “You’re not entering our store without a face covering, whether your exempt or not! Covid is a more risk than your asthma!” I walked back home out of breath again, my mom was angry and went over to explain the rules for people who have asthma. The manager simply did not listen at all and kept looking away as she was talking! I’d rate this shop 0 if I could! It’s not fair for people like me who are exempt and are labeled as “not following the rules” by them
Great local shop. More than DIY. Everything from nuts, bolts, tools, gardening, pest control, key cutting to washing lines, pegs, cleaning. Great place. Friendly staff.
Always very friendly and knowledgeable family business. Aladins cave, everything you could need at Homebase beating prices!
Taking Covid precautions very seriously which is great to see.
One of those places where you feel like you are inconveniencing them by being in there. Blokes are very off-hand. Lady is always helpful and polite though.
Well stocked local store... comprehensive hardware selection...and a good electrical store next door...
