AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE COVID-19! Bought 2 bracelets with charms, one for my daughter and one for my wife from here for Christmas. We decided after this my daughter was too young so we wanted to return hers. However, we went to Pandora Tamworth on Boxing Day and spoke to the lady at the counter who informed me they would not be able to do any returns until Bank Holiday Monday. My wife returned on Tuesday 29th of December to once again try and return the bracelet, she spoke to the manager of the store who made her feel very uncomfortable and informed her that having the receipt was not enough proof and that she needed the merchant copy as well. After getting no where she left the store quite upset. On Wednesday 30th December I went in myself as soon as the store opened, once again I spoke to the same manager who sold me the goods the first time round and also recognised me and knew me by name. At this point I thought she was quite a nice lady until I asked for a refund for the bracelet, she then became quite smug informing me that their company policy was not to give refunds without the merchant copy of the receipt. At this point I knew that having a receipt alone was enough proof by itself, but to clarify that I bought the goods furthermore I tried to show her my bank statement which showed the date of transaction which I paid on my debit card. Which she wouldn’t even bother to look at and her smugness increased as she kept informing me she couldn’t do anything without the merchant receipt. By this time I was getting very agitated and she was very unhelpful and phoned security on me! After another 5 minutes of me arguing in front of security another manager appeared. I believe his name was Adam, he diffused the situation, took my name and number and said he would call me back by the end of the day to see whether he could resolve this. After leaving the store extremely disappointed and appalled with their customer service I contacted citizens advice. They informed me that Pandora was in breach of their own terms and conditions and advised me to put a formal complaint into head office which I will be doing. After speaking to citizens advice, I was even more sure I was in the right to have my money returned. Therefore, I contacted Pandora in Sutton Coldfield, I spoke to a manager called Harry who actually was polite and had a brain. I explained to him the situation and he was amazed to here the way I had been treated, and asked me to come straight to his store and he was more than happy to give me a refund which I did and I am very thankful to Pandora Sutton Coldfield. I just want to say that the manager at Pandora Tamworth is not fit to be a manager or deal with any customer service issues and she needs to learn basic manners and the terms and conditions of her the company she is supposed to be managing. Once again I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated and advice you all to stay away from this store and instead go to another Pandora franchise.
