We had an enjoyable meal there

Visited Church Cottage for the 3rd time on Thursday 20 August 2020 as part of the NGS open gardens scheme. This year, because of the Corona Virus , we had to book online in advance for a time slot to visit. The weather was lovely and the garden lovely and peaceful. We found it restful to sit by the running water and watch the butterflies and dragonflies visiting the buddleia. Below is my older comment : Visited the garden at Church Cottage on Thursday 16 August 2018 . The garden was open as one of the NGS open gardens on that day.. The church next door was used as a place to park for visitors with the church drive being used. The church was open for visitors to use the toilet and the people running to church were very friendly and kind. The garden is a very short walk from the church. It is a large garden that wraps itself round Church Cottage. It has some very interesting features such as a large pond and stream ( the pond is large enough to have its own rowing boat) There are a number of pathways by the side of the pond and the stream - do be careful as some of the steps are quite steep.
