Wish there were more shops

I didnt dislike it. I grew up in Stafford and remember it being built and opened. It is a shadow of its former self with many shops empty and closed. The guildhall sadly does not offer a shopping experience at all and is more a glorified rain shelter nowadays. However, the carpark is still as good as it was and offers far more parking spaces than the guildhall does shops. It's sad to see.
Guildhall is okay. There are a few empty shops which isn't surprising since the Riverside complex has opened.
For me, the place seems a little dated and in desperate need of some attention. Again, this is over shadowed by the new Riverside complex which will add to the dated look of guildhall due to being new and refreshing.
A shame really as guildhall has serviced Stafford Town for many years and it was always the go to - all in one, shopping centre.
Always clean, a nice mix of stores and good Covid19 measures in place
