Bought my 10 month old pup in a few weeks ago because she was poorly and they got us seen asap and they were really kind, she got spayed yesterday and they found a umbilical hernia and removed it at no extra charge! They explaining everything in great detail and I think they really understood my anxiousness when i rang them back on the evening to double check some things! I think theyre great!

I would certainly recommend Cavan Vets. I have used them for over 3 years and always had good service. When my cat was seriously ill a year ago she was treated with the utmost care.

I took my elderly dog here believing the cost would be affordable , as that is what they say ! 2 visits and over 230 pounds spent just to be told hes old . Had to pay twice for consultations even tho it was only two months apart . And charged 55 pounds for metacam! It's 15 pounds online . This vets is not a cheaper option. We are now in debt and all to be told what we already knew . We needed pain relief for his hips!

Hi My son and I took our hamster to see the clinic after we noticed his leg was not right. We waited, were forced to put a mask though I have a respiratory condition but did anyway because we wanted to do something for the hamster. When we were finally seen, the vet talked as if he had taken drugs, even my son noticed his strange behaviour when he was talking. We asked the vet to give the hamster some painkiller, which he did. He gave the hamster painkiller for cats/dogs. We bought some painkiller which we wanted to give the hamster after 24hrs of having received the shot from the vet but the next early morning, my son found the hamster dead. CAVAN VETS killed our hamster. The morning of the hamster's death, I visited these people and made me appear as if I was a threat just because I was expressing myself about how unhappy my son was. My son cried for days and refused to go to school that day. It was very hard for me to deal with my son's constant crying. He loved his albino hamster so much. Needless to say that my son hates CAVAN VETS and so do I. they refused to refund fully for the sh**ty service. I emailed them as I was given an email to complain. They never bothered replying. I will pursue it.
