We contacted Avenue Taxis as we needed to book a wheelchair accessible taxi for a client of ours. Avenue Taxis were professional and punctual. I can not recommend them enough. Wonderful service.

Ordered the taxi this evening From the last anchor to the Pentahotel. Fantastic service, prompt text messages to make us aware of what vehicle would be picking us up and what covid restrictions were in place. Driver arrived a few minutes before allotted time and very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend.

I ordered a taxi for sat 29/2/20 6-30pm waited outside house taxi didn’t arrive phoned office at 6-45pm they told me I was barred and taxi wasn’t coming 7-50 taxi arrived he went to wrong address I told him I’m barred and he was quite abusive. Would rather walk than use this company phoned HAWK got taxi immediately and the driver was very pleasent and the FARE was £2 cheaper than Avenue quoted . If I could have given minus stars on review I would have.

Driver arrived before time but when we got to my destination, he DIDN’T STOP the meter and laughingly insisted that it was the company’s requirement and not him. So it was extremely difficult to get to pay as each time I handed him the cash, it had changed and needed more. The driver was Asian. This happened on the 17/2/20 and I couldn’t believe. I was getting very worried but there was nothing I could do. Unless it has changed, the meter is normally stopped when you arrived at the destination and you hand in the cash. I WON’T USE THEM AGAIN. And advise everyone to AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs.

Brilliant service, the phone operators and drivers are always very polite and the taxis arrive very quickly. Tonight I ordered a taxi at ten past eight and requested an estate car due to having some very heavy luggage with me. The driver (regretfully I didn't ask his name but I hope Avenue can identify him through this review) was very friendly and helpful and not only did he help with loading and unloading my luggage but he also was kind enough to bring them up the steps and into my flat, something I would've very much struggled with. I wish I'd given him a bigger tip, but I hope Avenue let him know just how grateful I am for his help 😊
