Twig Flowers

Michael, at Twig, designed and created the most incredible flower blanket for my late father, inspired by a special place to him (a fishing lake) and his favourite bird, a Kingfisher. There is no denying his outstanding talent in his vocation. We initially contacted Michael about a smaller display of sympathy flowers as the casket tribute had already been decided upon with another florist, but within minutes of being on the phone with Michael, hearing his bountiful, thoughtful ideas, it was clear that he was the man to create something truly symbolic and special for our beloved Dad. Without hesitation, our family unanimously, and immediately scrapped our original flower plans and asked Michael to do all the flowers, but most importantly the casket tribute. He knew the importance to us of creating something really celebratory and beautiful, he was never patronising about our limited knowledge of flower varieties and he intently listened to the ideas we had, coming up with different solutions that symbolised the kingfisher and respected Dad's wishes for his coffin flowers. He made additional time to really hear our ideas and ensure he knew what we wanted. His manor was entirely respectful and thoughtful throughout the whole process and using Twig was one of the few things that brought so much joy and comfort to such a difficult time, but most of all the day of Dad's funeral. He remembered Dad as a customer and repeatedly offered sincere condolences and shared his experience of knowing him, demonstrating a real care for his customers. Our experience of Twig was not a one-off. A number of years ago when I worked in hospitality, I noticed Michael's outstanding work at a corporate event for a top legal practice in Ipswich. Before Dad passed, he often used Twig as his preferred florist, and every time Michael's arrangements always looked beautiful. The displays in store are beautiful and constantly changing - worth a walk past if you are ever in Ipswich and need a floral pick-me-up.

Micheal, thank you so much for helping me choose the perfect flower to say “sorry” to an exceptional woman. She was delighted with the content of the the beautifully presented exceptional quality flowers. Apparently, she’d never had such magnificent flowers in all her life! Micheal, in a very dark time on this planet (Covid -19) you were great to chat to and I will always be grateful to you. Obviously, I cannot recommend you or your flowers highly enough. I have wanted to use Michael since he turned down my custom a number of years ago because where I was delivering would compromise the quality of his work using a courier. Anyone who takes that much pride in his work must be good I thought and after recently using him I've found he exceeded my wildest expectations with a custom ordered yellow rose bouquet. I've used a lot of florists previously and I can honestly say that in terms of quality, customer service and the wow factor this is the best I've seen. Thank you once again, I would highly recommend you.

My husband got me a beautiful bouquet from this florist for Valentine’s Day. The flowers are stunning and so beautifully presented! What made me write this review was the fact my husband has said how impressed he was with the service he received.... He said he’d definitely go back and that’s fine by me as the flowers are just gorgeous.
