It's been 2 years since I applied for a straight forward divorce. Predicted 3 months! They lost my documents. Luckily I paid for signed delivery so they had to take responsibility.
They also take at least 3-4 months at a time to respond. Even before Corona virus times! In one email they tried to blame a large turn over of staff.
I AM STILL NOT DIVORCED.. Cannot believe how awful this service is!
After reading the reviews I was quite concerned about the level of service.
The phone was answered after 8 minutes and I was help greatly by someone called Jason who was very knowledgeable. You should give these guys some credit. 5 star review for me - thanks
Its been long and traumatic. The staff of this place are cheerful enough after waiting on hold for half an hour or longer. Thats the only redeeming feature.
It will take you years. Any times quoted are fantasy. Call in three times if you want something done; it never happens the first time. Mail goes unopened for weeks and months, turnaround time for any application will be 6-8 months (imagine being told after 8months about a date error!!!) and as you can imagine its nobody's fault its just the way its done here. IMHO they should tear down the building and start again. What a joke.
SHOCKING SERVICE!
Awaiting my decree absolute, where for some reason it were received on the 7th of December and they are now working on applications received on the 10th of December , and mine now dissapeared! Everytime I speak to someone about it there's a different excuse! What a joke. Now they sent an URGENT email chasing my application, "but that will take a week for them to pick up on the URGENT email", urgent my backside! Thank god I don't have to deal with them again after this experience!!!!

Total disrespect no intention of answering the phone not everyone knows how to use a computer.
Finally got through then they just hung up on me through another answer service.
These people should be sacked and replaced by people who want to work.
Its sickening as people have important and distressing issues to be dealt with and the so called staff don't care. Disgraceful, disgusting.
Sack them all. Hope they can sleep at night.
