Thank you Sam. When I purchased my new I-pad you were so patient with me when setting it up for me. Friendly, helpful, knowledgable. What more could I ask for? I will certainly recommend Stormfront and Sam to my friends. Well done.

Why you could never trust a repair or evaluation by Stormfront: In short, they can sell you Apple products & know how to use them but have almost zero technical competence. They may be able to replace components although often this is a money-maker & they won't even need replacing as you'll see! Read on: My Dad bought a very high-end MacBook Pro with Retina screen costing over £3000 & he had an educational discount as a teacher. After just over a year with almost no use, it developed faults. After several trips to Stormfront in BSE they were unable to help, but agreed to take it in to investigate. They were unable to determine the faults despite this being so early on in it's life & hardly used - Dad did not get on with the Apple OS although this is not their fault in any way. Eventually they had reached the limit of their knowledge so the product was sent off to Apple UK. Over a month later, we were called to say it was back, but could not be fixed. Apparently Apple claimed it needed a replacement motherboard and other components - which would in total cost more than a full replacement - despite it's value? Beyond uneconomic repair. It seems the sum of the parts was greater than the whole, literally. Apparently this work was not covered under any kind of warranty - despite the MacBook not being that old & had almost no use due to the faults... incredible. They did try to sell my father a new replacement of course, but fortunately he walked out in disgust. As he had naively believed Stormfront & Apple to be honest & representing the pinnacle of Apple technical knowledge, he never sought a second opinion. To solve the problem I upgraded & sold him my old ThinkPad cheaply (which I'd bought used & had several years at that point) & which serves him well to this day. In contrast, the newer MacBook just sat in a drawer for the last few years. The reason I'm posting a review now? Obviously I could or rather should have left a negative review then. My bad. Well, I was recently in an independent mobile phone store in Ipswich and by chance relayed the story in conversation as to why I wouldn't buy another Apple product, ever. They offered to look at it & I was reticent - so long having passed & several technicians including Apple UK themselves having written it off. I didn't want to spend more money but they offered to take a look without charge, having convinced me they repair a huge no. of Apple products that the manufacturer wouldn't touch or cover under warranty. To be honest I'd hoped some parts might be salvageable and even £50-100 would be better than nothing. An hour after dropping it off they called to say they believed they could repair it! I was excited but slightly sceptical & naively said go ahead as long as it's not exorbitant or going to cost more than the MacBook is worth second-hand otherwise I wouldn't want it back. Just over another hour later I was back in the store, with the fully working MacBook being demonstrated to me by the owner, a chap called Hera. I was over the moon but slightly dreading the bill but knew my Dad would be happy. He explained that a number of minor repairs and soldering had been needed but it was all labour, and none of the components were faulty per se! Because of this & their technician spending so long on it he' said he'd have to charge £50. He needn't have sounded apologetic, I could have kissed him. My Dad was blown away, but loves the ThinkPad now, so my lucky daughter will benefit from it for high school homework, as at least I know where to go if it goes wrong again. Having worked for an Apple reseller many years ago, briefly, I'd heard horror stories about both Stormfront ('StormC#nt' as they're known in the trade!!) and Apple habitually ripping off the gullible public but hadn't paid enough attention having had no experience myself. The thing to consider is, no matter how good their product or software knowledge, if they say a product can't be repaired or they want to charge a lot to - you're likely being lied to or ripped off. AVOID!!

Excellent experience in Stormfront Bury St Edmunds today. Was served by Alex (Store leader) who was very knowledgeable about my product needs. I was especially impressed with the time taken to check important backups (photos etc) and purchased a new MacBook Pro to replace an older model I had. Thank you. Was great to be presented with valid options in buying. Fully recommend.

Popped into Stormfront on the off chance that a technical issue with my iPhone 11 could be resolved.Spoke with Stefan who not only sorted it on the spot ( operator error ) but gave me advice on another issue I was having with the ringtone. So professional and knowledgable I have already recommended your store to friends.
