Called re a property to rent . States pets at extra dep but not really the point .Pet or no Pet . Total disinterest in me taking my details or providing any assistance .Coudent get me off the phone fast enough . Unprofessional. Clearly dont provide a even close to acceptable level of service . If I could give 0 I would. Tracy is extremely unprofessional and rude. Cleaned the rental property until it was spotless and checked out Friday. The agent didn't bother to come into the property until the Monday and proceeded to try and take money from the deposit BECAUSE OF A COBWEB. Used another agent afterward. Much more friendly, cooperative and the fees were cheaper elsewhere! *update since the reply* I was a tenant for a year with this company. A legitimate review dismissed because it is 1*. Tracy even had the audacity to scream at me down the telephone and hang up when advised she was being rude.

I can’t speak highly enough about the service I have received from GD Estates . Louise and the whole team have been amazing. Due to illness I had to move from the lovely home I rented through them and they were kind , understanding , professional and I would have no problem whatsoever in highly recommending the company . Thank you for everything to you all .

Address we were tenants at under GD estates: 16a hatter street, ip33 1ne - email to verify correspondence in photos in case they dismiss this review like the other one star reviews. We have been left extremely disappointed with the level of service from GD Estates. They seem to be wanting money at every point on checkout despite our contributions and our level of professional cleaning carried out at the property. When we viewed the property the current tenant had a lot furniture and rugs covering much of the property and we were did not know how bad the carpet was. When we received the keys to the property we were shocked with the condition. GD estates said this was sun damage, however it was in all rooms, even in rooms without windows? I paid over £150 to clean the carpets myself, each time the water was black and for the life of me I couldn't get it up. GD Estates were very unhelpful again, also trying to dismiss a wax candle stain that was burnt into the carpet with an Iron! Also saying we should use rugs instead to cover the carpet - I asked if at the time if one of them would like to walk on this carpet without shoes on and they didn't want to..... Eventually after negotiations, we managed to get the landlord to agree to them fitting the lounge carpet as long as we paid for the upstairs two rooms and bathroom - totalling £700 including underlay (landlord opted for no underlay on their part). Prior to us leaving we arranged for professional cleaners to come round to clean the new carpets we put in along with the oven and we also performed a very thorough clean of the property. We were then informed via email that no cleaning had been carried out at all (I have invoices to back all of this up and witnessed cleaners entering the property and even stuck around to make sure the machine they had worked for them). We were told this was because no "tread" marks could be seen on the carpets so no cleaning had taken place - this is ridiculous to say the least, they now want £170 to carry out additional cleaning even though the carpets are in excellent condition, professionally cleaned and also paid for by us! Along with this there is a wall mount bracket and screws for photo frames in the wall that they now want a "contribution" of £100 to fix these - I left filler, matching paint and scrapers at the property to fill these if the new tenant didn't want them, I am happy to attend the property to fix this, it isn't hard to fill a few holes! Photos of the carpets when we moved in along with the new carpets we had fitted and what they looked like before we even had them cleaned professionally! Rant over - I would make sure if you are a tenant of GD estates to make an inventory of absolutely everything in detail as they will try their best to get what they can from you. Additional comments following review follow up: We left the property in far better condition - including over £700 in new carpets, we could have just taken these with us if the landlord would have preferred their old carpets returned? The landlord should be taking this into account in their dispute. It was your company and your contractors who we deal with, not the landlord, we deal directly with you and hence paying you the rent, fees, checkout fees etc. Also I said in the review that cleaning was carried out by ourselves in addition to hiring professionals (because we are thorough and wanted this matter to be resolved quickly), the carpet cleaning carried out by myself was at the start of our tenancy because of the awful condition of the carpets you wanted us to cover up with rugs. But unfortunately we have been left with no choice to leave this review due to the poor service offered by GD Estates. We are not in contact nor have dealt with the landlord before, this is a managed rental by yourselves and our dealings have only been with you.
