Disappointing trip to Clark's in BSE today to buy school shoes. Waited in line for 45 minutes only to be told at 17.25 that they wouldn't be able to serve us as staff needed to leave at 17.30. The website clearly states you are open until 18.30 but apparently this is incorrect. Also surprised to see multiple adults/parents/grandparents accompanying children into the store. If you are serious about protecting your staff and customers from Covid then restrict the number of adults in the group. Buying school shoes is not a family outing. Customers are trying to support the high street but not when you treat us like this, at least make an effort to communicate the correct information.

I took my little granddaughter there for her first pair of shoes. We were served by a young man who seemed clearly bored & uninterested! Shame on you, we will go where our custom is appreciated next time!

Excellent customer service from training assistant manager, got a good deal on a pair of sandals, store was clean , welcoming and hand sanitiser at front of store.

Very slow service, staff unhelpful, brought shoes 4 weeks ago for son to wear at school and they have been falling apart on the side they refused to return them but instead said we can give you 25% off another pair, all we wanted to do was return for a different pair and pay extra for better quality shoe which would last, the staff are very slow and are not knowledgeable on what they are selling, next time will travel to a different store not bury st edmunds as seem so un organised and like they don't want to be working.

Bought trainers for my son a few weeks ago. Good service and very good quality trainers. Really annoying though because the salesman sold me a can of cleaning foam for the shoes which pushed up the price of already expensive shoes. Worst was i not asked if i wanted the cleaner, i was told "you are going to need the cleaner with those". When i got home i realised the shoes are machine washable and i could have saved myself £8!!
