Very attentive staff for my two children. Measure and fitted and double checked by another member of staff, made me feel very confident in the shoes they would be wearing all day at school. For children Clarks shoes are a must. Very well made, you can wash them in a washing machine and they'll come up like new! Always a good selection of styles and sizes. More online too. Helpful staff and safe knowledge of sturdy shoes means happy family all round. Thank you.

Rating is purely on access to the shop. There were two rows. One for those who had an appointment and one for those who didn't. I just wanted to pickup an online order. I was told to wait in the no apt line. Unlike a well known store that lets you in straight away as it's a five minute operation. Having heard that the other line gets priority and there was no telling how long we'd have to wait, is pretty dire.

I went in to get my daughter's very first pair of shoes. I measured her feet myself (which I didn't mind as the lady was busy) and chose the shoes. Said lady told me, "I'll be with you next," to which i replied that there was no rush. Never the less, she came over, snatched the shoe out my hand and asked "What size?" Upon her return, I had received a phone call so she asked if she should put the shoes at the desk- "yes please". When I'd finished my call I asked if I could get them to try on. Well, the attitude I got back was disgusting! I was tutted at and told I had "asked for them to go to the till!" I told her she was being a bit abrupt with me, to which she started arguing with me! I actually had to ask her to stop speaking to me like that! I couldn't believe it! Her manager then came over attempting to defend her, which made the situation even worse! I think the lady was annoyed she was 'on the floor' on her own whilst the manager and other staff member were chatting, but I got the brunt of it. Totally ruined my first ever shoe shopping experience with my child! Won't be going back!

Great service. Daughter's feet were measured. Seat, measuring device and screen all thoroughly cleaned beforehand. Good measures in place to continue to shop safely.
