Our dog stayed at the kennels for 10 days during extremely hot weather, when we picked her up the girl who worked there happily told us that our dog had been splashing her water. As a result of this, instead of realising our dog was simply hot, they told us they removed her bowl and gave her gravy instead at tea time. I simply do not understand how they can believe this is acceptable due to the extremely high salt content of gravy which must of left her extremely dehydrated. Our dog was violently ill for days as a result.
These kennels should not be trusted to look after any animal after this blatant display of cruelty and neglect.
Excellent place for your pets... I wouldn't leave mine with anyone else.
My dogs are not the easiest to get into and out of kennels so my grateful thanks for the help from the staff.
Came back from holiday today, expecting Willow to have lost loads of weight after missing us for 2 weeks, but no. She is as healthy as ever and clean as a whistle. Obviously not missed us at all as she had made a new friend. Great service as always. Been using Barton Dene for over 20 years. Never any issues.
Scotty absolutely loves it here, he always is very well looked after! They treat him as their own which is what I love. I get daily pictures on what he’s up to which is what I truly appreciate. I will always use Barton Dene and I will always recommend anyone to come here too. Couldn’t be any happier seeing my fur baby happy! Thank you again so much!!!
