Disgusting, my parents dog went in for some teeth out and they ended up taking 15 out. He was sent home when he was very clearly not right and given a pain relief for him to eat! After have 15 teeth out? Later on when he wasn’t improving he went back over for them to inject him with pain relief and anti sickness and then sent him home again and he couldn’t even move, early hours in the morning he died. I understand this sort of stuff can happen but there has been absolutely no sympathy or condolences from them at all. Just a job to them it seems. They killed our dog and all they want is money for it!

Visited the Preston practice and both the Vet and the Veterinary nurse were amazing. I have Siberian Husky whose fear aggressive due to a past trauma and has total meltdowns in vets. They booked the appointment before and after him out and for the first time in 7 years, with time and patience the vet managed to get near him to give him an injection and a minor health check! Absolutely fabulous service from the Preston branch.

I was told the cost upon exiting the appointment and I’m still not sure what exactly I paid for. My dog was weighed and I picked up some worm and flea medicine which would retail at about £10-£15. The overall cost of my 10 minute appointment was £81.26 I paid at that point, as there was not much else I could do. I believe the medication I received was not suitable, since I had explained the diarrhoea and vomiting (vomit which contained a worm) which should reasonably suggest a loss of appetite and an extremely backed up/potentially blocked digestive system for her to be vomiting worms up as she was. My dog has taken one of seven sachets of worming powder I paid for, after which she has lost her appetite and barely eaten for a day and a half. I am now having to go out again and pay even more for a wormer that will hopefully be actually suitable for her needs. The vets were very friendly, welcoming, and kind, and the premises was clean and professional; but unfortunately I feel this visit was overpriced and undervalue and it has left me feeling more stress than relief, and subjected my dog to a longer period of sickness and discomfort
