Like most people, it wasn't on our itinerary and just saw it while driving by and then had to stop to investigate. What looked like a lake at first, turned out to be a purpose built 7 mile long reservoir. Local govt has done a very good job by providing a proper parking place with sign boards for pit stops. The weather was typically Welsh that day with rain and mist but that meant that there was nobody around in the way to spoil the lovely view.
Small car park with views over the reservoir. Ideal spot to stop for a small picnic when taking the back roads through Mid Wales.
One of the best scenic views I have seen in Wales. Must visit on a sunny day to appreciate the views
Good stop for a break and a view. Unless you see my dog having a pee that is.
