My husband and I live in Germany and wanted to surprise my mother in law by something extra. We had to do the whole thing via email and Paypal. The cake shop was so responsive and easy. Today mother in law was happy and surprised. During corona time there was no way for us to make better than that.perfect and nice. Thanks alot
This place is fabulous! The cakes are really delicious and the service is great. I stoped by after walking around the castle and definitely it was a good choice for a sweet pleasure. Enjoy your slice of cake x
Although the cakes and scone were undeniably nice, the menu lacked a lot off detail and information, and the Milk Shake are just a glass of milk with some cheap syrup, which isn't really what I'd call milk shake. The menu does also have "Thick Shakes" which I assume are the actual traditional milkshake with ice cream used. I'd suggest renaming the 'milkshake' to flavoured milk and your thick shake to milk shake, this would help stop being disappointed when they end up getting a £1.60 glass of milk.
Exciting and tasty delivery from The Cake Shop! Very friendly staff, delivered to the door following COVID measures, making me feel safe. Easy to order via Facebook.
Loved it! Very Tasty and delicious, normal prices and very well made cakes.I do suggest the Leak and Potato Soup!!
