Well stocked...we were looking for internal lighting and found what we wanted midst a good stock. Staff helpful albeit it seems they're bit short on numbers. Fairly long queues at checkout.

I managed to get everything I needed at a reasonable price. It was a pleasant experience too&the staff were helpful&friendly.

I visited the store this afternoon to return a metal tape measure because it had been placed on the wtong peg and instead of buying one costing £6.25 I discovered when I got home that the tape cost a staggering £21!. This was because a previous customer had replaced it on the wrong peg and of course at point of sale I wasn't informed of the cost and was ushered out with undue haste because they closed in 15 minutes! Today the same thing happened but I asked the price at the till before purchasing and then had to go to the further end of the store to get the right one and then queue again to get served. I can't get it right with Homebase so my advice to anybody buying is to check everything before handing over payment. Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised at the range of stock they keep , so not all bad hence a score of 3 but I must add that "closing time" is 15 minutes before they lock the doors......you have been warned.

Great little store for DIY. I actually miss our local Homebase store in Cardiff that closed down, so whenever passing I always like to call in and gave a browse.
