Convenient inside terminal 5, forth for car park. Not signed very clearly though. Go to lift at far right of arrivals and go up to 4th floor.
Absolute headache with Avis. 99% of the time, Avis would mess up something with no apology nor empathy. Rented a car, they processed the deposit 5 times. When I reported it, and sent screenshots as proofs, they didn't have the decency to apologise; simply telling it's only a deposit and I'd have it back. Meanwhile, up to £1000 of my money was withheld/reserved for 7 days.
My favourite place to rent Avis cars. It’s rare to find such a good rental place. The staff are usually helpful and have a good choice of cars.

Terrible service! Que was taking forever and there was 3 managers in the office talking and laughing whilst the que getting busier and busier, help your staff when busy! Was big bald guy and 2 others. Staff at the counter were lovely and felt bit sorry for them receiving no help
The attention has not been anything positive. The staff made me waste a lot of time, despite having a Preferred account (for being Key Worker). In addition, surcharges suddenly began to be charged without warning (£ 200). Even after returning the last car, damage is invented for an alleged incident that I did not commit (£175 more). I think it is a lack of respect for key workers: I think I will not use Avis again, next time I will look for a rental in the competition.
