I went to the salon some time ago with my two young sons for a hair cut and while we were debating styles with my youngest, the senior male stylist became very offensive and started verbally ranting at us, which was rather frightening for the kids. He even stormed out of the salon, which we were told he had done before. To the credit of other stylists, they were very apologetic and someone else did complete the cuts for free, but as far as I am aware the male stylist is still employed there. I like the way Toni & Guy cut hair, but I won't be returning any time soon. Not a good look Toni & Guy.

I like my hair cut done by Nadia and her suggestions. The salon has safety and social distance measurements in place. I liked they have even single use towels so no wet towels in use obviously. Planned ahead very well.

On entrance, everyone was kind and welcoming. The hairstylist and I discussed what kind of haircut I want, I showed her different pictures and told her my ideas. I told her that I prefer to have a low maintenance short hair, so that I don’t have to spend a lot of time every morning styling it. I wanted something simple and easy to maintain. She ensured me that she would deliver to my needs and then I was accompanied to get my hair washed. She then cut and blow dried my hair and it looked great. After a couple of days when I showered at home and tried to style my hair I discovered that there were longer strands hanging from the short ends - pieces of hair that have been left by her. I have been completely deceived. Not only was my hair not cut properly (with strands of longer hair everywhere that I was supposed to cut myself at home), the hair looked absolutely awful. I specifically asked Nadia to do a haircut which I can easily maintain after a quick shower. Now I am expected to blow dry using various products to try and tame my hair. Another issue I found was with the pricing of my haircut. On booking, I was informed that my haircut costs £45, however I was charged £47.50. Why is there a disparity in the prices which hasn’t been communicated to customers at all? I’m terribly dissatisfied and disappointed, I don’t think I would ever go back. I specifically chose to go to Tony&Guy because of the high-quality professional service they claim to offer. However, I am certain that having to cut my hair at home does not uphold the standards the brand seemingly holds.

I have only been in twice, but both times, david managed to do wonders for my hair. The man is magic. Had a wonderful cut by paige today as well, she really made sure to get exactly the look I was going for. Also, they didnt try to over sell anything to me - (I asked for one thing, and was advised that I could get the same look by doing something cheaper). As someone on a low salary, I dont always have the money to spend on my hair, but I really really appreciate this honesty and will be coming back! Thank you! Xxx

I have been going to Robert for over 10yrs across three distinctly different haircuts. I'm known for my great hair...all down to the way he cuts it. He is a magician. Takes great time, a lot of skill and the best bit is the style/shape lasts for the six weeks. Has a special technique to ensure a 'bob' hangs beautifully and a short power cut stays quaffed all day
