No problem getting tipped, nice friendly staff, always able to fill my flask and use bathroom 👍 very important to a class 1 driver with a 4hr onward journey back up north, 3mins from m1 👌 great location.

Friendly staff with a good range of stock on site. Easy to find not far from the m1 or the a5. The team here are really friendly and make you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door.

Although Howdens only sell to trade, having visited them this morning with the fitter who will be installing my kitchen, I have been given the best price for assembled units for the whole kitchen, far better than Wren's. I had to cancel with Wren's. Having gone through back and forth several times over the whole design process, paid the deposit and waited weeks before I could set up their 0% 3 year finance deal, their bank declined our application. No reason was given. I asked to review our package to reduce some of the more expensive units in order to pay cash but they wouldn't let me do that either. It was either pay the balance or cancel the order. However, with Howdens, having been given one quote, I revisited the showroom, and asked if we could make some adjustments such as 720mm tall wall units instead of 900mm high. They also said the Wren spec included twice as many worktops as I really needed. Howdens final price for a kitchen with 12 units, an Induction hob all all decor accessories is £1000 less than their earlier quote, and more than £2000 less than Wren's. I wish I had listened to my kitchen fitter months ago and gone straight to Howdens in the first place.
