Great Park for anything really. Lots of space for outdoor activities, I regularly run around the whole park which is about 3km. There's a good walking path the whole way through the park. Chilling on the field, going for a walk, taking your dog for a walk, Skate park, it's pretty good as far as parks go.

This is a really great park. I go mostly to walk my dog but there are loads of different exercise classes and sports clubs being run there. It has the famous skate boarding park and the Wild Woods tree top adventure place. It has an out door gym and ornamental Gardens with a cafe. Lots of people go running there. One day I'll put on my running shoes and join in.

It's a good open space, but the paths are too narrow in places for social distancing. Concerned that people are using the open air gym structures, and the play ground is packed out. No cleaning of any apparatus is being done. ☹️ We are in tier 4!

Loved visiting this park, great to see these Dragon's Teeth used in WW2 Known as 'dragon's teeth', these fortifications were reportedly designed to immobilise tanks by lifting their treads off the ground from below, effectively disabling them in World War 2! The pyramidal blocks, made from reinforced concrete and arranged in irregular rows, could additionally channel the flow of enemy traffic into designated "killing zones".

Great place to go out for run, walk, cycle or even a picknick. Close to town center easy and to walk to. Well kept grounds.
