The Staines's store used to be the place to buy my kid's school shoes but those days are gone for good! I was made to queue today for 40 min while the store which never seems to have the staff to great you! Today they had a gatekeeper instead! How difficult to treat people who did not know anything about your new appointment system? How about ignoring them. Yes, they deserve it as they should've known better? I just wonder how long you keep treating people with contempt. It would've been more respectful to announce that you accept customers with appointments only. Two queues will never work? It creates an atmosphere of resentment. I just walked next door to Johnson's got greeted and given a ticket number. Less than 10 minutes was asked to come in and treated as a client!!

Great experience actually today... had been in a competitor store just prior.... staff too busy gossiping to offer any help, so I left. Round the corner and spotted a Clark's store in shopping centres...Cheri was a grand mix of pleasant smiling approach and knowledgeable about various brands etc... Ended up buying 2 pairs... Nice result.

What an absolute joke of servise, horrible infact. Waited a week for the wrong shoe. Called the Clapham junction store to be hung up on twice after the colleague got told not to answer the phone as it takes her away from the shop floor. I told he assistant exactly what I ecpect and that was free next day delivery. and my frustration to be told she does not appreciate my rudeness. A bit unprofessional to be seen to by someone in a shoe shop walking round with no shoes on. Dont waste your time on this

Just bought some shoes for my grandson for school and was served and sold shoes within 10 mins of our ticket being called out. This was including the choosing of the shoes.my grandson has flat feet so a sturdy pair of shoes is required . The sales assistant just put the shoes on him felt for his toes and told him to walk about. I mentioned about checking around the back and sides and he said he had which he had not .I would have thought that with me explaining the problem with his feet that he would have taken extra measures to ensure a correct and secure fitting .will go to Johnston's next time though slightly more expensive at least all correct Checks are done .
