Awful company, AWFUL MANAGEMENT! On the 23rd July 2020 I felt like I had no choice but to leave my job. I was gutted! I completed piercing training on the 12th February, which I passed. However I was told I couldn’t pierce in store until Woking Council came out to sign us off. However I was asked several times if I could pierce when the store manager (Elsa), regional manager (Belle) and the higher manager (Erin) were all very aware I did not have a licence or a certificate. On the 23rd I was asked to pierce and I said no. I was then informed that if I did not agree to pierce that my hours would be cut . I was not doing great hours anyway so they would have cut my hours to near to nothing. At the time there was another girl in the same position as me (Sanna) however she was pierce and didn’t seem bothered about doing it illegally. I was disgusted by this because I had worked so hard, reaching daily targets, covering those who needed it, working so hard to keep customers happy and the store up to standard. I will say again I was being asked to pierce illegally! They also wanted me to pierce a child on the day they threatened to cut my hours to which I refused!
