Called as emergency vets and although I am still reeling at the cost, I cannot fault the care shown by the team in Staines. Our cat had been injured and they took great care of him, explaining everything to us as they looked after him and maintaining regular contact via phone calls. Social distancing and covid measures were stringent. Our boy is on the mend and we are very pleased with the service we received and highly recommend.
Honestly I know it’s Covid but the only conversation I had with them was for money. I was kept waiting and given no information about how my Kitty was doing. They managed to miss what was the problem and reason she was there, but certainly didn’t miss payment.
I would not recommend. I felt that everything was made to drag things and increase the cost (I have an insurance). From a cat unwell for 4 days, not well enough to come home, I lost my patience and my cat suddenly made a miracle recovery in the night and was ready to come out of care at 9 am. They also asked me an additional 16 pounds to complete my insurance claim.
Excellent care. When we came to Vets Now it was unfortunately the worst news imaginable, but the staff were nothing but supportive and caring through the whole process. I am very grateful for the people that took care of my sweet baby.
Today I visited this emergency vet. My dog had a fever they have let me wait in car over an hour. I can understand that had a more important cases but still someone could come outside and let me know that they know I am there. On the end they have told me they are charging £16.55 for administration fee for insurance claim. Actually that surprise me a lot, because they do charge to see vet £192.55 and on top administration fee too that is so expensive. In Richmond they do charge £140 only on weekend visit at the vet and you can book by appointment so you don't spent two hours there like me.
