We wanted to pay by card and only self service with a card was available.we asked an assistant if she would put them through a tell for us which she refused to do. I asked to speak to the manager explained to him that we don't like self service explained that the assistant refused to scan them for us he then asked the assistant to scan them through the till for me. We felt that we should not have had to ask for the manager to get this level of service.
Only one in the queue to get in, got what I needed and self served on the way out to avoid another small queue.
Barely anyone in the store which gave me room to get around the shop. It was also eerily quite too. Excellent quality of service from all staff in store too.
When we went in loads of customers were ot wearing masks correctly, nor following 2 meter distancing. Staff didn't seem to manage the store rules.
Staff helpful but product range is reduced. why
