Richard is amazing! Having recently made both my daughters wedding rings, I asked him to swap a stone from my mother’s ring into my engagement ring and then asked him to make me a completely new ring from what was left of my mother’s ring and two rings left to me by my beloved aunt. What he has created is exactly what I envisaged . He listens to everything you say, advises where necessary and gives you his undivided attention at every appointment. Nothing is too much trouble! He is truly talented and I would not hesitate in recommending him.

I really cannot recommend Richard highly enough. I have a gold locket that my Nan gave to my Mum on her wedding day, who in turn passed it on to me on my wedding day and now it’s my turn to pass it on to my daughter when she gets married in less than two weeks. I was told by a repair company that the locket was beyond repair as the hinge was broken as well as the loop on top and the bail had degraded completely. I was heartbroken to think it had ended it’s wearable life in my possession, but then I was given Richard’s contact details. I contacted Richard on November 26th and after looking at photos I had taken and a phone call he told me he ‘liked a challenge’ and agreed to take on the repair. I received my locket back in the post yesterday! Not only had he completely cleaned and faultlessly repaired my precious locket, he’d got it back to me in time to pass it on to my daughter on her wedding day! So to anyone who’s been told their jewellery is beyond repair, contact Richard before consigning it to the bottom of your jewellery box or the back of a drawer, I am so glad I did!

Fantastic experience with RTFJ!! Richard supported us right from the design phase through to the completion of our bespoke ring, always with complete honesty and openness about the visual and practical limitations of ring manufacturing. He was also careful to pair the stones and structure to the activities it would be exposed to, again adding a layer of personalisation. We were always comforted that at any point we could change our mind (even walk away!), but with the tailored approach provided, we ended up with exactly what we had hoped/dreamed of. Nice and welcoming. Had my engagement ring re-sized. My finger was measured and adjustment made to my ring. Made two slight adjustments to size, then perfection. Ring returned polished and no sign of the adjustment made. Great value for money. Brilliant service. We were even made a cup of tea, whilst waiting for adjustment to be made. Will recommend to anyone who wants a down to earth and reasonably priced adjustment to their ring.
