We used Stevens Son and Pope for conveyancing on both sale of a house and purchase of a flat. They have been professional and courteous throughout. The lady conducting the conveyancing has been exceptional. Never felt rushed, questions fully answered, sound advice given, helpfull and friendly. The perfect service and a pleasure to work with.

We decided to use Stevens Son & Pope for probate. They were very slow, gave us conflicting advice and generally made the whole process very complicated when it should have been so straight forward. Ended up doing most of the work and chasing the probate office ourselves. Complete waste of money and we would have been much better off if we had handled the whole thing on our own. Their receptionist acts as if she doesn't know who you are even if you phone and state your name 50 times a day. For £2,500 they've essentially filled in a form, sent it in the post and done nothing else. Even when probate finally arrived which they knew was time critical, they sent the original probate via first class post! £2,500 and they didn't even post it via special delivery! A complete shambles.
