Fabulous nostalgic, relaxing day out, imaging yourself back in the days of steam with period coaches and of course the sounds of the locomotive. Many great memories. The food we ordered was amazing and the volunteers worked really hard to make keep everyone safe and happy even when, sadly, some visitors' behaviour was v disappointing.

The Bluebell Railway is an absolute gem of a heritage railway. Lots of locomotives running and on display, and the stations are all well presented with plenty to see and do. A great day out for train buffs and families alike.

We attended Steamlights Xmas event. It was very well managed for social distancing, staff very helpful and attentive. The experience was magical, children of many ages and adults alike thoroughly enjoyed. X

Very well maintained and authentic heritage railway. Very acceptable lunch served in the dining car at very reasonable prices. Covid protection and adherence to government rules made it feel very safe. All in all, a pleasant day out, made better by the weather!
