Boots

Been in a few times and the staff have been helpful. Be warned the pharmacist takes lunch at around 1230 to 1330 (approx.) So you can't pick up prescriptions during this time. Had a flu jab here and it was a comfortable experience.

For the last 12 months I have avoided using this branch of Boots due to the appalling attitude of the female pharmacist (small-built Asian female) who on numerous occasions refused to process my prescription due to some trivial technicality that neither my doctor nor other pharmacists were able to comprehend. Her attitude provides a superb model exemplifying negative service. This is an individual unable to demonstrate any empathy as she will point blank refuse to process a prescription because, literal example, the doctor failed to place a full-stop at the end of a sentence written on the prescription paperwork. On many occasions I was left with no alternative but to drive back to the doctor (25 minutes each way) and wait as the prescription was laboriously re-written in such a way as to please this particular pharmacist. What a terrible waste of my time and the doctors time and for no intrinsically meaningful reason. Today, I decided to try again to see if anything has changed. I was hoping that this unpleasant woman might have moved on to torment a different population. Unfortunately, I discovered that she is still very much employed at this branch. After examining my prescription for literally 5 minutes (I mean it) she informed me that she would be unable to accept the prescription due to a technical error made by the doctor. She didn’t offer any explanation but did choose to let me know that ‘we don’t have it in stock anyway’. Rather than insist that she elaborate I took the same prescription to Tesco where the pharmacist undertook a thorough examination of the doctors comments, apologised for the delay and happily accepted it. She then apologised again for not having the tablets in stock but informed me that she would have them ordered for delivery the following day. Lesson learnt! I will never ever visit Boots in Maidenbower again! :)

The pharmacy is normally very busy, but the staff are very nice especially the Lady Asian pharmacist. She did my flu jab and was very informative , gentle and kind.

Not only they are really slow despite 4-5 staff inside but also they're quite rude. One of the worst boots I've ever been to.

Quick service once in !!!
