Free to use car park located right next to the Ardingly Reservoir and perfect for the walks around the area. Very convenient.
We were only able to find the car-park thanks to Google as there is no signposts for it at all from the main roads. Also be aware that this car-park is very popular and finding a space can be difficult. There are no marked bays.
I mean, car park is what it is. The 5 stars is given as we have so much fun and adventures on the water. Great place for paddle boarding plus my mate sails there too. Many a great weekend spent there and more to come no doubt.
Free car park and a hard, uneven path that runs along one side of the reservoir for walkers. The path is fenced off with access to waterside prohibited to general public. With the reservoir at low level and high shrubbery between path & water level, only a few places provided decent views of the scenery. Did the 14 stage Kingfisher walk from car park to furthest extreme of the pathway and returned same route - took 2 hours. Decent enough exercise but lacking views. Very disappointed.
Lovely area and free parking be carefully though gates shut at 7 and you can get locked in
Plenty of space when we were there. No mobile internet connection on Vodafone
