I am a return customer of Maria’s and have ordered many cakes which have astounded me every time. Maria has made for my family stunning sculptures of dragons, floral arrangements and has replicated our family crest from a signet ring up to a 10 inch plaque with perfect detail. On top of all that, they taste amazing! Order in advance if you can - her talents are in demand.

I really don't know where to begin! Maria created the most stunning, life-like Aussie-French Koala cake for my mums 70th. I don't really know what I had pictured, but never in my wildest imagination did I expect to receive such a magnificent creation! Everything from the size, the delicate ears, lovely fur, nose,eyes (wow! so lifelike!), French flag, onions, BERET!! - all the details, small and big, were exquisite and executed with such precision. It took us a good long time to work up to cutting into it - as my husband put it: 'maybe when we see it's just made of cake, we won't feel so bad?!'. Well, the taste didn't disappoint. It was completely delicious. I have no idea how you even begin to make something like it, you truly have a real talent. Seriously, I've never seen anything like it! Mum...well, she still hasn't got over it and was so very, very touched. And, most of all - it was just such fun! Thank you for coming up with such a creative way of combining her two loves, she was so very happy. Thank you, so very very much. This is surely not the last time you'll hear from me!
Ordered a Black Forest Gateau for my partner's birthday. The cake looked amazing, finished in buttercream with fondant decorations shaped like animals. The taste was fantastic, moist sponge and lovely icing. My partner and I were both very happy. Would recommend to anyone!
Maria has made cakes for both mine and my husband’s 50th birthdays. Mine was a replica of my beautiful pug Elvis. It was perfect in every way. Looked almost too good to eat although that would have been a waste as it tasted divine. My husband’s was a ‘Biggles’ themed cake. It was an incredible reproduction of Biggles right down to the silk scarf that looked like it was floating in the breeze. Maria’s attention to detail is incredible but most importantly her cakes taste awesome. I would highly recommend her!
