Always enjoy visiting the site. We were pleasantly welcomed by the gatekeeper, who asked to see our membership cards. We went to walk the dogs as it was getting late. A lovely location with beautiful views and a fascinating history and atmosphere to match.
Lovely and peaceful. Good walks but hilly in places. You need good walking shoes as can be muddy .
Bit soggy under foot but always lovely walks and house.
Lovely walks in the mud, house very interesting, but lime wash has spoilt the look as timber frame not really visible.
Not all paths open at the moment but you still can see the main attractions. Bit rainy today but cafe open you can eat outside under a roof.
