The staff was very friendly and patient with my dog who is very nervous of new people. They also kept me well informed as we were not able to enter the office due to covid restrictions, and they not only rang me during the check-up but came outside to further discuss with me afterwards.

We used Medivet Clerkenwell for the first 6 months of our new puppys life. Nice premises and staff are friendly, but the service is very corporate and impersonal. We didn't see the same vet twice and I value a personal service to help with the issues a new pet owner faces. They have systems issues which mean they may charge you a part of the bill when you leave your appointment and then may be contacted later to pay a balance you didn't know existed. In trying to get clarification for a charge months after our appointment, we were sent chasers and even told we would be passed to a debt collection agency. We weren't (and still are not) convinced the charge is correct, but it was so far past the appointment we couldnt be sure (there were other items on the bill for things we didn't purchase, which had to be taken off). Despite the fact they have still not been able to prove we received the drugs which they were charging us (and chasing relentlessly for) we chose to pay the bill just to stop the harrassment and emails. I'm sure the profits from a £47 bill (for drugs they aren't sure we purchased) is extremely important to a large company like Medivet (it appears to be) but it felt overkill. We changed to an exceptionally good family run vet practice nearby where they value the relationship with us and our puppy (ahead of £47 of disputed revenue); we see the same people every time and they don't have complicated, inefficient corporate systems. Couldn't be happier to have switched away.
