Everyone at your practice has been so kind, efficient and accommodating. We adopted a cat with a couple pre-existing conditions that we didn’t know about until we brought him in for his first health check. Your staff has given us the best information and given our cat the best care. We know he’ll be in good hands as we continue with you.

On couple of occasions now the reception staff a very unfriendly/rude and make you feel like you bother them. 1st occasion: I called to get a vaccination appointment in 3 weeks time (so I called well ahead) but the receptionist did not listen properly and cut me off saying „we are fully booked next week“ and not being helpful finding a solution. I had to tell her 3 times I don‘t need the appointment next week but within 3 weeks time and if she could check again please. No apology from her. 2nd occasion: I call to check on a treatment I am awaiting since I have not had the promised call back after 4 days -> Someone picks up but, I explain why I call and suddenly get put on hold. No explanation no I am sorry for putting you on hold. Then the treatment still not available, no explanation just „we call you“ and she hung up on me. 3rd occasion: My partner brings our puppy to her vaccination appointment and was unsure about a treatment so he said he will check with me and staff member said he can come back later. He went there again an hour later as discussed but just get told „not today we are busy“ ?? I really don’t understand why the staff has to treat the customer likes this and I am worried how they handle someones pet as they do not seem to care much.

It was very easy to book an appointment for a new puppy and everything went seamlessly. We did worry that we couldn’t go inside with our puppy for his vaccinations but Emma the vet made us feel completely at ease. Our puppy really appreciated someone new to fuss over him. Everything was explained to us in detail and when the puppy was returned, he was even more chilled than when we handed him over. Would highly recommend.

I’ve had mixed experiences here, the vets and vet nurses are generally great, reception less so. The final straw is being given two sets of medication (anti worm, anti flea) in the same bag, with dosing instructions and no one thought to mention they shouldn’t be given together. My young pup threw the meds up and when I phoned for advice and mentioned I gave them both at the same time she said ‘oh no, you can’t give them both at the same time’ and when I said that nowhere had I been told this she said I had probably been told on a previous occasion - but this is the first time I’ve had this medication to give my pup. Not even an apology. This on top of a range of other sub-par experiences. Would recommend avoiding if you don’t want to accidentally give your puppy an overdose.

The vets here are perfectly fine here but the receptionist is horrendous. After reading all the terrible reviews for this practice that specifically mention the receptionist, why does she still work there?? The receptionist that was working in the morning of Tuesday 6th October 2020 was rude, sarcastic and incredibly unhelpful. We’re brand new pet owners and just wanted to ask some additional questions, I’m not sure where her attitude comes from but it’s clearly not a one-off and she needs to be removed to prevent her ugly first impression driving away customers and damaging the good work performed by the vets here. It’s challenging to believe the responses from the practice to the other complaints regarding the receptionist, assuring it’ll be reviewed and dealt with, as it’s clearly been months and nothing’s changed - review your front of house staff or risk losing paying customers!
