Its only the 2nd time I have been there. Everyone was friendly and the vet I saw was lovely. Gave me some excellent advice and was great with my cat.
Very few vets have more than a basic knowledge of Guinea Pigs. It makes a lot of difference to talk to somebody who knows the animal well.
Main care was brilliant reception and vet excellent. The after care from reception was disgusting I needed additional pain relief for the cat as she wouldn’t take the tablet air I was scared I would hurt her why giving it to her I asked for pain relief which was additional cost ok as the tablet given was part of the package liquid relief was extra. I was told the vet will do a prescription this evening this was 9.10 in the morning and cat needed pain relief after quite a serious operation. I am finding it’s more about the money. Yes they give pain relief in tablet form. What cat will take a tablet. They should provide options and include the cost. I for one would pay it but to have to wait and be questioned on when the cat has surgery which I assume the receptionist must know. I have one more visits for aftercare then all my pets x 3 will go to a new vet. It’s not the first time I have had a bad experience here. I should have learnt. Great vets and I le lousy receptionist (maybe she thinks it’s a doctor’s surgery or she needs customer care training.
Very lovely professional people. Took my pet cockatiel, Blackheath being the nearest that dealt with exotic pets at the time and the vet showed such respect and affection, she was really lovely.
I felt the receptionist was friendly and helpful. I really like the vet. She seemed genuinely interested in my Kittens and I didn’t feel rushed at all. She explained everything very clearly and answered all my questions. She was also very friendly and warm.
