I will start with the feedback I gave on the day. The standard of food was excellent. However, and it is a huge however, we were totally let down by the standard of service. The man who arrived to 'serve' the food was grumpy, rude and scruffy. We were accused of the caterers not having access on time. However the door was open as agreed by 2.45pm. The web site states we arrive, we serve, we clear up, we go - or words to that effect. This is what we agreed. This is NOT what happened and we had to do all of our own service and clearing up. The man who arrived for set up was rude, and in fact on the verge of abusive when I tried to discuss the situation objectively on the phone. He implied I was lying to him and stated that he didn't care if I gave a bad review or refused to recommend me because 'if all my friends and family were like me he wouldn't want anything to do with them/ us in the future'! I remained polite and helpful on the day and throughout our telephone conversation. I could not deal with expressing how disappointed and let down I felt as it was an emotional day celebrating the life and memories of a dear and close family member. i cannot believe I have been treated so badly with no customer respect and no offer of even a small refund. This company clearly do not think the 'customer is right' and in fact imply 'the customer is a complete liar' ! i have worked in catering in both Operations and an HR Manager and in my experience staff would have been sacked for this attitude. However, when I mentioned I had worked in catering all I got was a cynical response that 'ah ha so has everyone else. I know your type .. take the food then do whatever you can to get a refund' It beggars belief!

The pies, breads and cakes are just to die for!!
