I miss going to the cinema during this time- The odeon is a wonderful cinema and the staff are brilliant. James especially is always so friendly and discusses films with me. I cant wait for it to reopen. I have no idea why people pay a fortune to go to view?

A great apartment if you want to get away from it all. The apartment is well furnished and equipped and offers a sea view from both the lounge and bedroom. Being only 10 minutes from the airport you can get settled pretty quickly and start exploring. Our host, Fernanda, was an absolute gem and transferred us from the airport to the apartment for free plus supplied us with a welcome pack of pastries, biscuits and drinks...nice! There are a good selection of restaurants and shops along the seafront but bring some good shoes as you will have to walk a good 30-40 minutes to reach the closet town metro station which will take you into the centre of Porto. Our stay was very relaxing and long overdue. Fernanda was amazing and gave us lots of tips. The apartment was great and suited us as a couple perfectly, there was the option of a pull out sofa bed, but I would definitely recommend this as a couple's get away.

By far, the worst cinema I've been too yet. No fault of the staff, but after making a habit of going to only IMAX screens at Cineworld this just seemed like going back 30 years. Tiny rooms, rubbish seats, lighting bleeding onto the screen and speakers being too quiet to drown out the people talking and bringing their own plastic wrapped sweets in. Spend the extra money in travel to goto the closest Cineworld. I've never have any issue's with them, it only seems to be Odeon that keeps sucking, in so many different ways, in many other locations.

I came in 1977 aged nine to see Star Wars and I'm still coming. Yes sure it's a little tired looking compared to some modern cinemas but the building is beautiful and an historical landmark. The staff are super friendly and helpful too.
