Pitman Pharmacy

1 star is to many for this place! I really struggle to understand how this is still operating. The man behind the desk is crazy! He was making a scene over nothing, it’s like he has some serious anger issues which needs to be addressed. I only came in to pick up some paracetamol however I left with no paracetamol but instead a worse headache as the man would not stop shouting!

I would rather have no prescription!!!!! What sort of pharmacy is this! My daughter came home in tears and she was distraught after I sent her here to pick up my prescription due to a man on the desk losing his temper with her as the back was not signed. She said the man was very unhelpful and was asking her personal questions which had nothing to do with him. I only used this pharmacy as a one off as I normally go to boots! This man was very aggressive to a young teenage women, I don’t think he would be as aggressive to me however this is why I have not gone down there since, by the look of the other reviews, this man has some some serious issues and he is the same one all the other reviews are taking about as my daughter described him to me.

WORST PHARMACY IN THE WHOLE OF THE UK! The owner/manager Mr Kehinde has changed my perspective of my people as a whole. This man is a danger to any body who steps foot in the shop, he is also a danger to himself. I have never come across someone more aggressive than this man! He confronted me and got in my face because I questioned him in regards to why he was so rude! I could not be quiet for any longer, he had me waiting outside for 10 minutes in the cold before he comes to the door. He did not greet me at the door, he unlocked it and started walking back to the back of the shop. I was then greeted with “WHAT DO YOU WANT” and the rest is history! I do not want to go into what happened after as this is currently being reported and I want this man to get what he deserves as this is not the first review about this man and I’m sure it won’t be the last! Please report this man at your earliest convenience!

At approximately 1600 I entered the Chemist and was asked by A black male of what appeared to be African decent Where my face mask was. I explained to the member of staff that I was exempt as I have a hidden disability. The member of staff asked for my exemption card. (I have recently been down to the hospital and explained my situation and have never been provided with one. Also GPS do not give them out) I provide the staff member with a brief discription of my medical history. I was then told to wait outside. I popped to the shop next door and went back to the chemist. The member of staff then refused to come to the door or speak to me. I opened the door where I was then abused and told do you no how many people come in and give the same BS excuses as you! I was shocked that a member of the NHS was speaking to me like this. He stood with his arms folded and said, "I do not get what you are doing in hear. I am not giving you and service" I then noticed the member of staff was displaying a NHS I D and land yard. I asked for his name and he refused to provide this and said "Its Michael Jackson" he then stood there arms folded looking streight into my eyes on a aggressive intimidating Manor. I then advised him that he is not allowed to refuse to provide details of his Identity should a member of public ask and also refuse me treatment if I am exempt. it's against the equality act 2010 targeting me for my personal protected characteristics. NHS England advise that patients should not be refused entry to a premises or access to care if they are unable to wear a face mask. Government advice says you should wear a face covering in enclosed spaces IF YOU CAN, including places such as primary care SERVICES and Chemist's. DR'S do not provide exemption cards. I am disappointed with the of pharmaceutical services by Mr kehinde (Manager) it is not the behaviour that I should have received and was far from professional and will look to take this further. Mr Kehinde is also the shop owner and is replying to all the reviews. The proof is in the pudding take time and read the Shocking replies to understand what sort of human this lovely man isn't.

I'm really confounded by some of the reviews on here. All of my extended family that live locally have used Pitman Pharmacy for years and we find the dispensing pharmacist polite, expert and - above all - professional. We've never had a bad experience and will continue to be customers here.
