Dear John, I would like to thank you for the work that you have completed for my wife and I. Creating and last will and testament has been one of the most thoughtful tasks I have undertaken in recent years, you described to us all the areas that we would have to take in to account. Some examples you given us were, regarding our business, what would happen to Frontline should anything happen to both Kerryn and I, what would happen with our children? If I should leave before my wife and my wife re married, how do I protect the inheritance for my children? You have shown us many instances that we would have to consider. John came to visit us to help arrange for myself, my son and daughter to become power of attorneys for my elderly mother. From the very start John was very professional and instantly put us at ease with his sense of humor and his ability to explain things in lay mans terms, but not in a patronizing way. He took his time and explained in such a way that a 93-year-old with early on set dementia and profoundly deaf, was able to understand what he was talking about and was happy for him to proceed. We felt that comfortable with him and his knowledge that we also asked him to arrange our wills. Not only did he sort power of attorney and wills but made it so that we would not lose half of our home if one of us should pass before the other. This process was all started pre Covid and he managed to sort and finalize though lockdown without a hitch. He made all paperwork easy to follow and every step was clear and concise. I first met John through Age Concern. My mother needed financial advice and wanted to arrange her Power of Attorney. John visited mum's home and put her at ease straight away. He is extremely friendly, easy to talk to and offers very clear, simple to understand advice. He spent time patiently answering our questions and clarifying the procedure until we fully understood it. He has since then helped me in writing my Will, again with very helpful, thorough advice.
