What an absolute gem of a place. We had thoroughly enjoyable day exploring this beautiful location. Thoroughly enjoyed our picnics, which was an unexpected treat. The sculpture trail was a fantastic added bonus to a lovely day. Enjoyed walking in the grounds. Enjoyed taking many photos. Enjoyed the food. Felt safe and secure and found the covid security measures to be well thought out and well maintained. We were surprised at how friendly and knowledgeable all the staff were. We had a lovely chat with the lady at the café who we had a lovely chat about the food etc. Such a beautiful location, I can't believe we haven't been here before. We will definitely be bringing our family and friends here to visit again in the future.
I have been there several times now. The grounds are impressive and the staff are friendly and helpful. Brilliant food at the café too.
It was OK for a half day visit. Were given a map/info sheet on arrival. There is quite a bit closed which you would expect at moment. Coffee shop takeaways only and one lot of toilets closed. The play area was supposed to be closed but children were in there.
The sheet also mentions that garden team has not been there for 2 months so have a lot of work to catch up on. So if you just want a walk around the gardens fine, but if you wanted to see the rest open like the church and heritage centre, I don't know when that will be. The lake with the swans is nice.
Print the map off in colour before going. The suggested walks weren't clear in black and white. There is a picnic area opposite the cafe but this is not shown on the map (nor are the learning or heritage centres - currently closed).
Beautiful surroundings and gardens to meander round and enjoy. Lovely tea shop for refreshments and enjoyed a lovely coffee, slice of home made cake and a gorgeous cheeseburger. Friendly and helpful staff too.
What could be nicer than sitting by the lake or wandering round beautiful gardens in the heart of Worcestershire on a summers day?
Will definitely visit again.
Beautiful place and peaceful, great gardens and sculptures were interesting. Lovely lake to walk around and sit and let the world go by. Also food was beautiful.
