Upon entering the establishment I sanitised my hands and took a seat while the people I was with went to buy something, I was then rudely approached by a member of staff which demanded my personal information not satisfied with the answer she demanded to see proof, I was then forced to do the stupid track and trace and had to show her my phone. Unacceptable! Expected better from a well established business. Disgraceful!!

Horrible experience today. The waitress (the female one with very heavy makeup) was playing with a dog of another customer the whole time I was waiting. She talked with a condescending attitude to me and clearly had double standard treating customers of minority races. I can't believe someone would openly and blatantly treat customers with discrimination in 2020. I have been a loyal customer to Costa and I have never been treated this way before. Really shocked and disappointed!

Not only 2 stars because of the shop itself. Just because it was busy for the hour or so I was in there! But I counted 7 tables with sixth form students on who were just doing school work or chatting with laptops out (which is fine, I was also sending some emails etc whilst in there), but none of the "kids" actually bought anything!!!!! Not a small coffee or a crumb of food. It was like sitting in a sixth form common room. Meanwhile actual paying customers were coming in and seeing no tables free and walking out again. Staff were great but they really really need to be kicking out school pupils who are just using it as a common room. Fine if your buying something. If your not then please clear off, it is a business after all. Come on Costa, people wanted to spend money with you. If I go in again, I will time it to be either a school holiday or weekend.

Amazing staff, very welcoming and always smiling. Service is quick and coffee is always great quality, whether you're in a rush or have time to sit and stay for a while
