Northwood Worcester

I have used Northwood in Worcester to let out a number of properties over the last few years and they have also helped me with one sale to a tenant. Jon and his team (Maria and Harriet in particular) have always provided an excellent service and, as I live abroad, their responsiveness and ability to sort things out quickly and smoothly has been very reassuring. Pricing is fair and transparent and the overall experience has been much better compared to other agents that I have used previously. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

When I planned on moving from the Netherlands to the UK I thought it would be a lot harder to find an apartment. I already expected to be living on one of my mate's sofa for quite some time. That was until I found Rob and Maria at Northwood. I explained my whole situation, being inbetween jobs during the move and everything. Rob took my whole story in and did not seem phased by it or think it was too difficult to help me out, despite what other agents have been saying who simply dismissed my case for other simpler ones. Rob helped me with the initial application of an apartment in Worcester, had the viewing with my friends and taking the extra time to get me the measurements of the rooms for my preparation as I wasn't able to do that myself. Then when the landlord decided they'd be willing to process my application Maria took over and she was an absolute angel. I have had so many questions and not once has she failed to answer me, she was always quick with her replies and made sure to check with other parties if she didn't have a full answer. Throughout the whole application she has been there to make sure everything when smoothly and today after 2 weeks and 2 days my friends just received the key on my behalf. It was an amazingly smooth process with all the support to make me stop worrying constantly if everything was going to work out. Thank you Maria and Rob, for making my move to the UK a reality. I can't wait to move in and start this new part of my life.

EDITED. At the end of the tenancy they pressured us to extend or give notice on the property, implying these were the only two options available, whereas generally tenancies automatically convert to a statutory rolling, but did not make this clear in their communications. At the start of the tenancy, they insisted on taking a cash payment for the reserving deposit, but didn’t have the change available to take the payment. Some staff extremely helpful, friendly and pleasant. Others were unnecessarily obstinate and unhelpful.

Having recently moved out of a property with Northwood Worcester, I have to say how good of an agent they have been. The move out process was completed very efficiently. Maria and the team are extremely professional and efficient ensuring the highest standards are always met. I would highly recommend Northwood in Worcester!

It's great to have found an estate agent that cares about what they do, from the effort put into selling the best features of a property to the friendly communication. We have only been with them for a few weeks but so far they have been responsive and helpful.
